CDT Gear

The following list of gear I am carrying during my CDT trip.  I endeavor to create the lightest base weight balancing comfort and backcountry self reliance.  I stress safety and the ability to face the unforeseen in my hike.  My body needs to recharge as I sleep so for me I find it essential to have comfort as we'll as protection from the elements and insects. While 18lbs is still heavy by ultralight standards, I'm much lighter than my PCT thru base weight.
