The Farmhouse Hostel

Today I'm waiting out a storm, so it's a rain day. I've got a bunk in a loft above the small living room. It's accessed by a rolling library ladder.  At first I wasn't so sure, thinking it would be hot, loud and well, dangerous up there. Actually it's very nice and cool and so far not loud.

The main building offers individual rooms, more of a B&B affair.  On the far right is the small attached building that is the hostel. 

The rain and wind on top of the Saddlebback Mountain was reported as sideways rain and enough wind to push you around. About 1800 hrs the rain came here and it was a hard rain. The rain lasted for about an hour then stopped with an overcast sky.  

The forcast for tomorrow is for moderate wind and sun, we'll see.
