Today is warm and thankfully melting snow as well as drying trails. I'm just going to relax here at Uncle Johnnys today while the sun cleans up the trail. 
So in the West we have the big bumblebees and carpenter bees. Out in the South they have bumblebees but theirs are a little bigger and much more plentiful.  They aren't aggressive but they are all around.  

 
The bumblebees are over an inch long and fairly fat
